Driven to harness what they have learned throughout their journeys and keen to explore unique and powerful ideas, TEDxUNB is ready to create a world where an idea and be the beginning of a never-ending adventure.

Jill is completing her final year of her Biology degree at UNB, and a proud Alumni of TEDxUNB having acted as Delegates Director in 2017. A passionate advocate, mentor, and change maker, she is thrilled to spark purposeful thought in each of our delegates by proposing that we always ask "Why?".

Andy's thought leadership journey started when he published his first business book in 2007, and first magazine in 2009. Since that time, he has leveraged custom magazine and online digital content strategies to establish himself as a leading authority in content marketing and brand positioning. Through his company, Carle Publishing, Andy and his team make these strategies and tools accessible to their Client-Partners. They make print and online publishing easy, effective and economical. Andy's 2nd book, How to Win Clients and Influence People, is already an international bestseller on Amazon!

Susannah is in her third year at the University of Birmingham studying Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences with a major in History, her exchange studies here at UNB focussing on gender and sexuality. She hopes to combine her passions for the arts and sexual education for years to come!
Professional badminton player
Luke Couture is an aspiring Olympic athlete from Saint John, NB which is where he currently lives and trains. He started playing badminton late in his sporting career and growing up his main focus was on hockey and baseball. Luke went to school in BC, spent 2 years playing in the Danish Leagues in Copenhagen, Denmark and has competed in over 25 countries. Luke is also a recent MBA graduate at UNBSJ.

Lucas Lloyd is from Rothesay, New Brunswick, and is currently a first year mechanical engineer attending the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton. He has a passion for music and understanding the world we live in. In his spare time he loves to play piano, sing, and perform on stage.
unicorn trainer, transformational leadership expert
Lindsay is a unicorn trainer, transformational leadership expert, master coach to global game-changers, speaker, author, and mama of four amazing kids. A regular Huffington Post blogger and often featured as a speaker and expert in the media, she is a certified professional co-active coach (CPCC) with CTI and a RYT 500 certified yoga teacher. In the elite transformational leadership coaching space for over 16 years, Lindsay has spoken to and coached founders and influencers at global events such as Afest, the Bliss Project, and leading organizations, including Accenture, and A.T. Kearney, Starbucks, Deloitte, P&G, lululemon, Blackberry, Deloitte and Revlon. When she’s not spreading her unicorn magic around the world, Lindsay is living her dream with her family in Costa Rica, where she guides elite leaders, founders and influencers from around the world through transformational leadership experiences in the surf town where she lives.
Dr. Ben Newling
UNB Professor in physics
Ben Newling, Physics professor, finds ways to get students invested in the outcomes, as he plans his classes, filled with demonstrations that connect physics to the real world. He wants students to recognize that the universe around us works in an amazingly wonderful way, and that we can make sense of large chunks of it with some basic tools. His willingness to share his trials and successes to help others receive the benefit of his teaching experience has made him a leader in the UNB teaching community. Dr. Newling is a previous winner of the Association of Atlantic Universities Distinguished Teaching Award in 2016, as well as the Allan P. Stuart Award for Excellence in Teaching at UNB in 2015.
